PRESS RELEASE
St. Norbert College and NWTC create new transfer agreements

Northeast Wisconsin — St. Norbert College and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) have announced new transfer agreements that create a direct, seamless pathway for NWTC students to earn a bachelor's degree.

Under the agreements, NWTC students who complete a business management associate degree can transfer to St. Norbert College to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration. Furthermore, SNC and NWTC will continue working closely to support a smooth transfer experience for students.

The initiative reflects the Norbertine value of stabilitas loci, a commitment to serving and strengthening the local community and creates educational pathways that allow students to remain rooted in the region while advancing their academic and professional goals.

“It has been a pleasure collaborating with NWTC faculty and staff to design pathways that promote student success and prepare graduates for meaningful careers,” said Meghan Walsh, executive director of the Academic and Career Development Center at SNC.

The transfer pathways remove common barriers students may face when moving between institutions, offering clear course mapping, personalized advising, and access to SNC's academic and co-curricular resources — helping students transition smoothly into a four-year program.

“Transfer partnerships like this exist to keep the student’s long-term success front and center,” said Scott Anderson, associate vice president of academic affairs and workforce development at NWTC. “These pathways create clear opportunities for students to move smoothly into a bachelor’s program, continue building on their academic goals and step confidently into high-demand careers that support our Northeast Wisconsin workforce.”

These new agreements build on the data analytics associate‑to‑bachelor’s degree agreement established in 2025 and underscore both institutions’ shared commitment to expanding educational opportunities and preparing future business leaders for the region’s workforce.

NWTC students interested in transferring to St. Norbert College are encouraged to connect with NWTC admissions or SNC admissions representatives to explore their options.
