De Pere, Wis. — St. Norbert College and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) have announced new transfer agreements designed to provide NWTC students with a smooth, barrier‑free pathway to earning a bachelor’s degree.

Under the agreements, NWTC students who complete a business management associate degree can transfer to St. Norbert College to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration. Students who complete an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree at NWTC may transfer to St. Norbert College and continue toward a bachelor’s degree in their chosen field.

The agreements include three key assurances for students:
1) Guaranteed admission with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
2) Clear, hassle‑free transfer of credits, enabling students to stay in Northeast Wisconsin while continuing their education
3) Personalized advising with clear transfer mapping

The initiative reflects the Norbertine value of stabilitas loci, a commitment to serving and strengthening the local community and creates educational pathways that allow students to remain rooted in the region while advancing their academic and professional goals.

“It has been a pleasure collaborating with NWTC faculty and staff to design pathways that promote student success and prepare graduates for meaningful careers,” said Meghan Walsh, executive director of the Academic and Career Development Center at SNC.

The transfer pathways were designed with student success at the forefront, removing obstacles that often make it difficult for students from other institutions to transition into four‑year programs. Students benefit from personalized advising, transparent course‑to‑course transfer mapping, and access to St. Norbert College’s academic and co‑curricular resources.

These new agreements build on the data analytics associate‑to‑bachelor’s degree agreement established in 2025 and underscore both institutions’ shared commitment to expanding educational opportunities and preparing future business leaders for the region’s workforce.
