St. Norbert College and NWTC Launch Data Analytics Transfer Agreement to Meet Workforce Demand

DE PERE, Wis. - In response to the growing demand for data-driven decision-makers in today’s business community, St. Norbert College and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College have signed a new articulation agreement that offers NWTC students a direct and seamless pathway to complete a four-year degree in data analytics.

From advanced manufacturing to health care, employers across the region are seeking data-savvy graduates to drive innovation, increase efficiency, and strengthen competitiveness. Nationally, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects data-related occupations to be among the fastest-growing fields, with employment expected to increase by 36% over the next decade.

Through this agreement, NWTC students earning an associate degree in data analytics can transfer up to 64 credits to SNC and complete their bachelor’s in just two additional years, saving time and tuition while building in-demand skills for today’s data-driven economy.

Students are guaranteed admission to St. Norbert College if they meet the following criteria:

Submit a completed application: snc.edu/admission/how-to-apply

Earn an Associate of Data Analytics degree from NWTC

Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at NWTC (students with a GPA under 3.0 are still encouraged to apply)

Earn a grade of C or better in all transferable courses

“This partnership represents a critical opportunity to expand high-quality educational pathways for our students and communities,” said Kathryn Rogalski, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Workforce Development at NWTC. “By creating affordable and accessible transfer options, we’re opening doors for students to earn high-value degrees that lead to high-wage careers and long-term success. These opportunities not only advance individual achievement but also strengthen our communities by fueling workforce readiness and driving economic vibrancy across Northeast Wisconsin.”

NWTC’s Data Analytics Associate Degree is offered through its College of Business, the only two-year accredited business school in Northeast Wisconsin. The program integrates Industry 4.0 technologies, such as predictive maintenance in manufacturing. Students gain hands-on experience in data cleaning, analysis, visualization, and storytelling, and can start with certificates in Python or Data Analytics and Visualization. NWTC is one of just eight WTCS colleges offering this degree.

The data analytics program at St. Norbert College is uniquely positioned to meet today’s workforce needs. The curriculum is a collaboration between the Schneider School of Business & Economics and the natural sciences. It also draws on the college’s liberal arts core to equip students with the broad perspective and contextual framework that employers seek. The launch of this agreement coincides with the opening of St. Norbert College’s brand-new business building this fall.

“This agreement demonstrates the core commitment of the Schneider School to the regional business community, as inspired by the life and career of Don Schneider and our Norbertine value of service,” said Kevin Quinn, dean of the Donald J. Schneider School of Business and Economics at St. Norbert College. “We’re excited to partner with NWTC to provide an accessible pathway for students to earn a bachelor’s degree in this high-demand field and to help supply the region with highly skilled employees.”

This NWTC-specific agreement builds upon the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) course-to-course transfer agreement. St. Norbert College’s participation in both partnerships underscores its commitment to helping students pursue their academic and career goals through a seamless transfer experience.
