James Hodgson, a professor of Biology and Environmental Science at St. Norbert College, was awarded $6,000 from the National Science Foundation Ecosystem Studies Program for collaborative research with St. Norbert College sophomore Allison Rick, from Davenport, Iowa.

The grant will support Rick as a Research Experience for Undergraduate (REU) fellow. Hodgson and Rick will study bass predation on Chaoborus at the University of Notre Dame Research Center in Michigan during the summer of 2006.
