St. Norbert College is offering non-credit language courses for adults beginning in

September. Weekly courses include Arabic, Chinese, Czech, French, German, Greek,

Italian, Oneida, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Most classes begin the week

of Sept. 10 and run through Nov. 15.

Courses available are:

Arabic 1, 7-8:30 p.m. on Mondays;

Chinese 1, 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays;

Czech 4, 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursdays;

Czech 9, 5:30-7 p.m. on Mondays;

French 1, 5-6:30 p.m. on Thursdays;

German 1, 5:15-6:45 p.m. on Wednesdays;

Greek, 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays;

Italian 1, 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesdays;

Oneida, 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursdays;

Polish 5, 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursdays;

Polish 10, 6:30-8 p.m. on Mondays;

Portuguese (Brazilian), 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays;

Russian 1, 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursdays;

Spanish 1, 6-7:30 p.m. on Mondays;

Spanish 2, 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays;

Spanish 3, 5:30-7 p.m. on Wednesdays;

and Advanced Spanish, 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Conversational Spanish, will be held 6-8 p.m. on Wednesdays; it runs from Oct. 17 to

Nov. 14.

Costs are $160 per course or less, including instruction and materials. The deadline to

sign up is Wednesday, Sept. 5, and class size is limited to 15 students.
