St. Norbert College Hosts Sneaker Ball and Annual Soul Food Dinner

St. Norbert College’s annual Soul Food Dinner brings together students, faculty and staff from the campus community, along with friends and community members throughout

northeast Wisconsin, to celebrate the gifts of African American scholarship, music and food. This event will take place at 5:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2 in Michels Commons Ballroom

(403 Third St., De Pere); doors open at 4:45 p.m. Tickets are $12 for students and $14 for adults and can be purchased at https://www.snc.edu/tickets. Food is served in a buffet

and consists of southern-style cuisine: fried southern chicken, red rice, southern mac and cheese, collard greens, corn bread, sweet potato pie and dessert.

Immediately following the Soul Food Dinner, at 8 p.m. Feb. 2, will be The Sneaker Ball, a dance hosted by St. Norbert College’s Black Student Union and music by @DJBoobah.

Guests are encouraged to wear any sneaker of their choice to the dance. Join for some dancing, sneakers and great music. This event is free and will also take place in Michels
