St. Norbert College Music Theatre will hold auditions for its July performances of "Les Misrables." A cast of 50 singers/actors are needed to portray the characters in this epic musical that has thrilled audiences all over the world.

Auditions will be held Tuesday, May 21, and Wednesday, May 22, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Walter Theatre of the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts on the St. Norbert campus.

"Les Misrables" is scheduled for ten performances, July 18-28. Rehearsals begin June 1. Music Theatre will open the season with "South Pacific," which plays nine performances, June 4-16.

Many are also needed to work backstage on costumes, make-up, props, sets and running crew. Those interested in working backstage are invited to attend auditions and sign up.
