Popular SearchesPRESS RELEASESt. Norbert College "Great Decisions" lecture series presents Arthur Cyr Posted on Feb. 10, 2010Arthur Cyr will present the second of eight "Great Decisions" lectures on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fort Howard Theatre, Bemis International Center at St. Norbert College, Cyr is the director of the International Business Center at CarthageCollege. His lecture is entitled "Special Envoys;" in it, he'll discuss the sometimes controversial role of these appointees in international affairs.
Topics for the "Great Decisions" series, an eight-week program discussing international issues of interest to the community, are selected by the Foreign Policy Association of America and are intended to provide a local forum for discussion on current political and economic issues of the day. St. Norbert College is one of only two Wisconsin schools presenting the entire series.
A subscription for the remaining lectures in the series is available for $40 per person and includes the "Great Decisions" briefing book, with information about all the lecture topics. Admission to individual sessions, including Cyr's, is $5 at the door.
