PRESS RELEASE
St. Norbert College Appoints Co-Directors to Lead Center for Exceptional Leadership

Jamie O'Brien and Lucy Arendt have been named co-directors for the Center for Exceptional Leadership at St. Norbert College. O’Brien and Arendt will take over for Dean Stewart,

who resigned in September after leading the CEL for five years.

The Center for Exceptional Leadership, part of the Schneider School for Business & Economics at St. Norbert College, is a leadership-development program that offers

assessment, planning, development, coaching and mentorship. The program draws on an extensive network of expert, certified professionals both to conduct leadership

assessments and to deliver individual and cohort-driven development experiences.

Both O'Brien and Arendt serve as professors of business administration -- management in the Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics at St. Norbert College. O'Brien,

who earned his Ph.D. in organizational behavior and strategic management from the University of Limerick, Ireland, previously served as the associate dean of the Schneider

School from 2018 to 2022. Arendt earned her Ph.D. in management science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

“Jamie and Lucy are exceptionally accomplished and experienced professionals,” said Kevin Quinn, dean of the Schneider School. “I am confident they will chart a course that will

ensure the CEL's continued success while preserving its distinctive high-quality experience for participants.”

This strategic leadership transition underscores St. Norbert College's dedication to the CEL's continual growth and its impact in the northeast Wisconsin business community,

Quinn adds.
