Local St. Norbert College students attend national training conference

St. Norbert College seniors Cristina Burrill of Stoughton, Wis., and Megan Mevissen of Maple Plain, Minn. were selected for national "LeaderShape" and will attend training Aug. 7-12 in Champaign, Ill.

The LeaderShape Institute is an interactive and unique experience that builds leadership skills through six days of non-stop self-discovery and learning from practical experiences.

Since 1986, more than 20,000 participants from all over the world have graduated from the program.

Burrill is majoring in Spanish and sociology at St. Norbert College while Mevissen is a communication media/theatre major.
