Brother Colmn Clabaigh, a monk at Glenstal Abbey in Ireland and a noted medievalist scholar, will visit the St. Norbert College campus on Monday, Feb. 22, to deliver an illustrated presentation of his work, titled "'The work not of men, but of angels': The art and architecture of medieval monastic Ireland." Clabaigh's presentation, which is hosted by the college's Center for Norbertine Studies, will take place at 7 p.m. in the Fort Howard Theater of the Bemis International Center on the St. Norbert College campus. It is free and open to the public.

Clabaigh has published a variety of monographs, specializing in the subject of monastic and religious orders in medieval Ireland. In 2013, the National University of Ireland awarded him the prestigious Prize for Irish Historical Research for his work "The Friars in Ireland, 1224-1540." During the spring of 2016, he is serving as the Burns Library Visiting Scholar in Irish Studies at Boston College.
