Alumni thriving in New North

Bethany Skorik, director of strategic communications and public affairs at Fincantieri Marine Group, grew up in Marinette, Wisconsin, and discovered that a St. Norbert College education could open the door to a global career in defense contracting and shipbuilding. Her journey from Northeast Wisconsin to international leadership shows how mentorship, networking and hands-on learning experiences at St. Norbert College help graduates thrive in competitive industries and make an impact worldwide.
Jordan Janssen, data technology business analyst at Pierce Manufacturing, grew up in Northeast Wisconsin, ventured away for college, and ultimately returned to build both a career and a life in the place he proudly calls home. Attending grad school in the region wasn’t just about a degree, it was about growth, perspective and community. With the help of his employer and the flexibility of a Schneider MBA, Jordan found a path that allowed him to grow professionally while staying connected to a community he loves.
