Popular SearchesSummer Academy of Medicine Explore careers inmedicine and biomedical sciencesHigh school students interested in medicine or biomedical sciences can get a head start through the Summer Academy of Medicine, offered by St. Norbert College and the Medical College of Wisconsin–Green Bay. This hands-on, residential program gives rising high school juniors and seniors the chance to explore careers as physicians, researchers and scientists. Participants will stay on campus, work in labs and gain firsthand experience with the skills, education and qualities needed to succeed in medical and research fields.
Registration for the Summer Academy of Medicine opens Jan. 1, 2026. Session 1 runs June 16-19, and Session 2 runs June 23-26. The program offers high school students hands-on experience, opportunities to connect with experts and lessons from professionals in the field. Whether you aspire to be a doctor, nurse or researcher, this is the perfect opportunity to explore your passion for medicine.
Programs are held in St. Norbert College’s state-of-the-art Gehl-Mulva Science Center, home of the Medical College of Wisconsin–Green Bay. Classes are taught by faculty from MCW-Green Bay and St. Norbert College, with an emphasis on ethics, collaboration and leadership. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
