Professional Development Day - Ex Corde Ecclesiae: The Church's Vision for Catholic Higher Education

Ex Corde Ecclesiae ("From the Heart of the Church"), promulgated by Pope St. John Paul II in 1990, remains the Catholic Church's most important statement on the identity and mission of Catholic higher education. This short presentation and subsequent discussion will explore the document's vision for Catholic colleges and universities, including their commitment to academic excellence, the integration of faith and reason, the pursuit of truth, and service to both the Church and society.
