Welcome to the 2025-26 season of our highly acclaimed CEO Breakfast Series at St. Norbert College! Join us on Feb. 17 for:

Choosing Better – Today You Will”

Brian Rasmussen
Founder and Publisher Emeritus, Insight on Business

About the Session
In this keynote presentation, Brian Rasmussen shares leadership lessons drawn from building and selling a regional business publication, navigating uncertainty, and learning how consistent improvement is shaped by the choices leaders make each day.

Through behind-the-scenes stories from entrepreneurship, leadership transitions, and personal experience, the session explores how successful leaders continue choosing better – in decision-making, relationships, resilience, and personal growth – without losing momentum or values. Rather than focusing on what isn’t working, Brian's talk centers on how intentional choices compound over time, shaping both professional impact and personal fulfillment.

Key themes include:

  • Untold stories from launching and growing Insight on Business through economic disruption and change
  • The realities of leadership transitions and why even experienced leaders benefit from coaching
  • Lessons from Brian's book, “Today You Will,” on how meaningful improvement is built through daily decisions
  • Applying the T.O.D.A.Y. principles to strengthen leadership, clarity, and forward movement

The session will close with a powerful reflection on the choice every leader faces – between settling or choosing better – and how that choice, made consistently, shapes the future.
