Requirements - First, submit the SNC application.
- Then, we’ll need a copy of your high school transcript, as well as official college transcripts from all of the post-secondary institutions that you’ve attended. Contact the schools and ask them to send your transcripts to us — they’ll know what to do.
- Submit the transfer student discipline records release form.
- After we receive all of your information, we’ll process your application and do a preliminary review of your transcripts. We try not to keep you waiting, so you should hear from us within a few weeks.
- You’ll receive an unofficial credit evaluation upon admission to SNC.
- After you’re accepted, we’ll work with you to evaluate your transferable courses and make sure you get the credits that you deserve.
Benefits of the transfer program This is this big one as a transfer student, isn’t it? If you’re wary of going through the whole “new kid” thing again, that’s understandable. But know this: SNC is a friendly, welcoming place. Students look out for one another. They’re kind. You’ll thrive here in De Pere, from Day One. As Tyler Kasper ’27 shares about SNC, “It’s a place where I can be my authentic self, and have the resources and community to try new things and further my education.” Read more about his transfer experience here.
We have more than 70 majors and minors. If you don’t find a major you like, you can even create your own. Whatever degree program you choose, keep in mind you’ll be learning in small classes from who love to teach.
We have 90 student clubs and organizations, spanning the gamut from academic to service to recreation to diversity organizations. If you’d like to start a new one, we’ll make it easy!
As for athletics, SNC is a Division III college with 27 intercollegiate sports, so if you maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, you’re eligible to participate.
If you are a little bit competitive, we also offer a popular intramural sports program — nearly 800 students participated last year.
When we assign you to housing, we’ll match you up with students in your own class year – first-year students with other first-years, sophomores with sophomores, etc.
Depending on where you are in terms of credits earned and remaining, there’s a good chance you can stay on track for a timely graduation. We’ll work with you to make it happen; we’re committed to helping you manage both the time and cost of college.
