Data science

Overview

The data science major at St. Norbert College prepares students to uncover insights, solve complex problems, and make informed decisions through the power of data. Combining mathematics, statistics, computer science and ethical inquiry, the program equips students with the skills needed to collect, organize, analyze, model and communicate data in meaningful ways.

Through hands-on projects and real-world applications, students learn how to build predictive models, work with large datasets, apply machine learning techniques and effectively communicate findings that help organizations and communities make better decisions. Rooted in the liberal arts tradition, the program emphasizes both technical expertise and responsible data stewardship.
