Overview

As a nurse, you’ll know that the work you do every day truly makes a difference. You’ll be a vital partner in delivering care that improves — and often saves — lives. Academic paths

If you want the option to earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in four years or less, you’ve come to the right place. SNC’s partnership with Green Bay’s Bellin College enables students to graduate with a BSN degree issued by Bellin College — and they are considered alumni of both institutions.

Interconnectedness is at the heart of all that we do. The core nursing courses that you take at SNC will provide you with a strong foundation for the work you’ll do toward the completion of your BSN at Bellin College — coursework that focuses on providing extensive clinical experience so that you’re well prepared to enter any area of nursing.

Through SNC’s partnership with Bellin, you’ll earn a BSN. The program has two stages:

  • You’ll spend your first two years on the SNC campus, taking courses to fulfill your core requirements, under the guidance of a pre-nursing advisor.
  • During your junior year, you’ll transition from SNC into one of two programs at Bellin College: the 15-month option, or the 24-month Junior Transfer option.

Nursing students are required to take course offerings in these areas prior to enrolling in Bellin College’s 15-month and junior-transfer options.

Completion of a nursing assistant course

Once you have completed two years at SNC, you will transfer to Bellin College. See Bellin College website for up to date transfer admissions requirements.

Note: The pre-nursing program is a cooperative program with St. Norbert College and Bellin College. Students do not earn a St. Norbert degree or complete a major or minor at SNC. Students will apply to transfer to Bellin during their second year at SNC and must meet the Bellin College transfer admittance requirements.
