Popular SearchesAboutWith a background in fine art and graphic design, Brian Pirman has been designing professionally for thirty-five years. His experience includes corporate identity, logotype, collateral, poster, signage and web design, as well as brand equity and package design. More recently, he has been active in the fine art world gaining entry into local and regional juried and curated art exhibitions. Brian has been teaching art and graphic design at St. Norbert College since 1997.
Brian participates extensively in regional art events: submitting multiple entries in juried and curated shows; supporting art walks; and judging a juried and curated shows. Of note, he was a judge at the Miller Art Museum and the 51st Annual Juried Exhibition at the Hardy Gallery in Ephraim, Wis. In addition, he has received multiple awards for his art and design, including exhibiting work at the Kohler Art Center, Sheboygan, Wis., and receiving the Gerhardt Miller Award in 2014 at the Miller Art Museum, Sturgeon Bay, Wis.
Brian currently spends time in the fine art realm experimenting with digital imaging which involves electronic image manipulation focusing on color, form, texture and patterns. His primary goal is creating engaging and thought-provoking work. His inspirations are drawn from fine art, film, nature and popular culture.
