About

Upon graduation from St. Norbert College, Amy Vandenberg was hired by Schneider National Inc., and spent seven years gaining invaluable experience in both their accounting and tax departments. Returning to her alma mater as a member of the faculty is both a privilege and honor. St. Norbert College is an integral part of her personal life as well as her professional life: Amy was married in Old St. Joseph Church, and all four of her children were baptized there.

Interests

Amy Vandenberg’s main research focus over the past five years has centered on the study of academic dishonesty as it relates to student behavior in the classroom. What factors affect students’ perceptions of cheating, and can student views be influenced? Currently she is expanding this study to include the relationship between student self-reported levels of entitlement and ethical perceptions. An aspect of research Amy enjoys is incorporating students into her projects, where they can participate in research, writing (journal publication) and national conference presentation.
