Health & Wellness Center

In partnership with Prevea Health, the Health & Wellness Center offers an integrated approach to overall well-being and strengthens the foundation for providing holistic care for students. Here are some examples of medical and counseling services offered:

  • Acute care such as allergies, bites and stings, burns, colds, flu, sore throat, ear pain, headache, pink eye, sinus and upper respiratory infections, skin infections, UTI/bladder infection, injuries/non-surgical fracture and musculoskeletal care, laceration evaluations
  • Routine medical care including medication management
  • Chronic disease management
  • Minor office procedures such as skin lesion removal/biopsy, stitches
  • Nicotine cessation
  • STD testing and treatment
  • Virtual appointments available if appropriate

  • Routine medical labs (some exclusions may apply)
  • Rapid screen diagnostic tests such as rapid strep, urinalysis, pregnancy, mononucleosis and blood glucose

Student health fee

Students pay a health fee of $172.50 per semester for services provided in each of the respective areas located in the Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center including, medical services, counseling services and use of the state-of-the-art fitness center and pool.

There is no additional cost for preventive care, primary care, behavioral care and lab visits regardless of the number of labs (some exclusions may apply). Patients will be referred to a provider of choice for services not available.

Massage services

Massage therapy is offered by a licensed massage therapist at the Health & Wellness Center for current SNC students, faculty, staff and spouses. Massage can enhance overall wellness by helping release toxins, easing stress and supporting healthy muscle function.
