Do you want to empower people to do more than they thought possible? Are you looking to become an ethical and socially responsible leader ready to serve your community? At St. Norbert College, you’ll learn the leadership skills you need to serve others. Our minor in leadership studies will teach you communication skills, teamwork and critical thinking, making you more effective in your future career.

Academic paths

At SNC, you can earn a minor in leadership studies by completing six courses from the leadership studies curriculum, including a capstone leadership course.

Minor consists of courses that total 24 credits.

Core Courses:
BUAD 230 Ethical Leadership or LEAD 200 Introduction to Leadership Studies
LEAD 400 Leadership Studies Capstone

Students will also take at least 4 courses (16 credits) from the areas below, with at least one course in each of the three areas:

  • Interpersonal and Small Group Dynamics

  • Organizational and Societal Landscapes

  • Leadership in Action
