The St. Norbert College community honored Barb Wickham, associate director of retail operations, with the Exceptional Service Award at the college’s annual

opening President’s Dinner held on Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Throughout her career, Wickham single-handedly developed the college's first coffee shop, Ed’s, that serves as a gathering place for the St. Norbert College

community. She also established Dale’s, a popular dining spot for students and employees.

Her nomination states, “Barb is the textbook example of how tenacity and grit, plus kindness and generosity, can be the living embodiment of our shared

beliefs.”

The Exceptional Service Award is given annually to a staff employee (hourly or salaried) for service above and beyond normal work expectations.
