Popular SearchesCourse catalog Courts and Justice in the US This course provides an introduction to the system of courts in the United States and the actors and institutions that attempt to provide justice under criminal and civil law. The politics and the policy produced by the American legal system will help structure the review of primary and secondary source material. Prerequisite: POLI 130, POLI 131 or permission of the instructor. Fall semester, alternate years.
