Examines the fundamental methods and techniques used in political science research. Emphasis on concept formation and measurement, hypothesis development, research design, data collection, hypothesis testing, statistical association, theory construction, and ethics in political science research. Prerequisites: POLI 130 or POLI 131 or INTL 150.
