In this intermediate photography and digital imaging course, students will gain an appreciation for the expressive and conceptual
possibilities of photography as an artistic medium. The photographic medium will be explored experimentally, creatively, and
conceptually through projects, readings, screenings, and in-class discussions. This course will explore the interpretive aspects of photo
processes and printing and how these material aspects of the photographic medium contribute to the construction of meaning within a
work of art.
