The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is a national initiative program, sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service, that offers free tax help to low - to moderate income individuals, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English speakers.  Students receive training, both online and in the classroom to provide free tax help for those who need assistance preparing tax returns. Spring semester. Restrictions: Instructor Permission required.
