Advice for writers
Write down things you may want to write about early on. Do a little research on each topic, and see what is most interesting to you! It's always easier to write about something you care about.

How do you get started on a writing assignment?
I always start with a big idea, and write down things that I'd like to touch on about that topic. From there, I develop a thesis statement that I think will be able to drive the paper in the direction of my initial points, and then get typing!
