Plan

It’s never too early to start planning for a global experience.

Step One

Let’s Meet
Contact us to schedule a meeting.

More Options
Consider one of the following options:

  • Swing by for open advising on Fridays from 10am-12pm in the Center for Global Engagement (no appointment necessary)
  • Stop by to schedule an appointment (F. K. Bemis International Center, third floor)
  • Attend one of our events

Step Two

Research and Reflect
As you continue to explore our programs, ask yourself the following questions:

  • What are my goals for my study-abroad or off-campus experience?
  • What requirements do I want to fulfill for my major, minor and the Core Curriculum?
  • Am I looking for a program abroad or in the United States?
  • Do I want to take courses in English or in a foreign language?
  • Do I want to study at a small, medium or large institution?
  • Do I prefer a traditional or an experiential study-abroad program?
  • What am I looking for in my destination?
  • Do I want an internship?
  • Am I interested in conducting research?
  • Do service-learning courses and volunteer opportunities interest me?
  • Do I want to live in an apartment, in a residence hall or with a host family?
  • Do I want to study off campus for two or three weeks, a semester or a year?
