St. Norbert Bounces Back to Top Illinois Tech

DE PERE - St. Norbert College rebounded from its first loss in seven matches with a 2-0 non-conference win over Illinois Institute of Technology at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights (10-3) allowed the Scarlet Hawks (5-7) just four shots in a solid defensive effort.
Following a scoreless first half, St. Norbert broke through with a goal by Ben Prange at the 54:05 mark. Prange scored his tenth goal of the season followed a passing combination from Alex Schumacher and Kieran Ruane.
The Green Knights doubled their lead when Anthony Masello scored at 60:35 off an assist from Tyler Kassube. It was Masello's third goal of the season.
St. Norbert outshot Illinois Tech 16-4 but corner kicks were even 4-4. Sam Lisheron and Tristan Bosch combined to make one save for the Green Knights. Anastasios Manolis made six saves for the Scarlet Hawks.
