DE PERE - St. Norbert College scored a goal in each period to top Concordia University Wisconsin 3-0 in the first game of a two-game Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
The Green Knights (5-4-1, 2-4-1 NCHA) outshot the Falcons (5-3-1, 3-3) by a 44-18 margin, including 22-7 in the first period.
St. Norbert held a 1-0 lead after the first 20 minutes. Jillian Kosteck scored her fourth goal of the year with a goal at 2:58. The Green Knights pushed their lead to 2-0 when Megan Crandell scored a power-play goal with 34 seconds left in the second period.
Ali Parker scored the third period's lone marker when she blocked a Concordia shot and scored an empty-net goal with 36 seconds remaining.
Parker also had an assist on Crandell's goal to register St. Norbert's lone multi-point game.
Brianna Kelly made 18 saves for the Green Knights, while Andrea Mizanskey made 41 stops for the Falcons. St. Norbert was 1-for-4 on the power play, while Concordia was 0-for-4.
