Healthcare administration is one of the majors at SNC that offers hybrid learning through our partnership with Rize. Core courses in the major are taught by SNC faculty on the SNC campus. Some specialized courses are taught online by faculty from Rize-partner colleges and universities. Rize courses are offered asynchronously (recorded) to accommodate students’ class schedules.
A highlight of your healthcare administration major is a strategy capstone that asks you to synthesize your knowledge and skills to plan a strategic transformation of a simulated healthcare system (a hospital network, for example). This project strengthens your problem-solving skills and helps you build a portfolio of work you can present to future employers.
You can also enhance your classroom experience with an internship at one of the many large healthcare networks and facilities in the area, several of which have strong partnerships with the college.
Finally, as you work toward a healthcare administration degree, you’ll share our campus with the Medical College of Wisconsin, which prepares many of the physicians who will work alongside you in delivering vital services.
Collaborate with faculty on special research projects, and contribute to academic and professional research.
