Collette Wilichowski has taught in K-12 public education and higher education for more than 20 years. Her roles have included everything from elementary classroom teacher, reading specialist, instructional coach and district literacy coordinator to assistant professor in graduate literacy, associate principal (high school) and principal (middle school).

Understanding how teachers think students learn in their respective areas and the achievement gap that exists due to social injustices are research topics that Wilichowski is passionate about. She also appreciates the importance of strong clinical placements and collaboration that exists between St. Norbert College and local school districts.
