Off to New Places With Your Multimedia College Magazine
Editor Susan Allen (Office of Communications) reviews the multimedia and online offerings of our latest issue of St. Norbert College Magazine.
Our dramatic cover shot beckons readers in for an armchair travel experience alongside St. Norbert's first cohort of Gap Experience students. Their story pushes the bounds of campus and makes for a great summer read as well. There’s video, too, of their send-off as they headed out to their “classrooms” on Lake Superior, in Utah, in St. Lucia – and points in-between.
Speaking of going places, how many readers remember Holly Nickerson ’15? We introduced you to Holly during her very first week at St. Norbert, when she allowed us to share her journey via social media. Those college years certainly go fast! It's already time to catch up with Holly, new graduate.
We celebrate with the rest of the Class of 2015, too! Our photo gallery may prompt your own graduation memories and, if it’s enough to pique your interest in this remarkable class, you may want to learn more about its two – two! – student speakers. Alex Clemetson ’15 and Akeem Edmonds ’15 brought a few more members of their class into the act, too: Watch here.
In general, it’s a time for new beginnings on campus and our multimedia offerings include insights into those, too:
- Leaders of two local school systems join with St. Norbert College to announce a new collaboration intent on providing world-class pre-K through college Catholic education in Greater Green Bay.
- Doug Page, president of architectural/engineering firm Performa Inc., explains why he’s choosing to pursue a St. Norbert MBA at this stage of an already successful career.
- Join in the celebration as the much-anticipated Gehl-Mulva Science Center was dedicated May 18, 2015. And we invite you to treat yourself, too, to something of a self-guided tour via our photo gallery.
The online magazine features all the material from our thrice-yearly print issue as well as a slate of web exclusives; new content is added weekly.
