SNC's Fall 2020 Advisement Days
At St. Norbert College, students are given two days of the semester for academic advisement. Research has shown an increase in academic retention when students are given allocated times to meet with an advisor in their field to discuss potential opportunities.
All courses that students plan to take will be reviewed by their academic advisor in order to guarantee they remain on track for a four year graduation. Students are expected to plan ahead before meeting with their advisor but are still able to change what they will take based on what they and their advisor have discussed.

Benefits of YOP
- Gain a competitive edge over other college applicants
- Save on tuition, textbooks–in most cases, the school district pays for YOP students’ tuition, fees and textbooks. It may also reduce the amount of tuition paid when you are a full-time college student because, when you transfer courses, that means fewer courses you have to take in college.
- Earn up to 16 credits toward college before high school graduation
- Provides access to the St. Norbert College Mulva Library resources
- Improves your ability to do well on ACT and SAT tests
