Workday Implementation
As St. Norbert College looks to meet the challenges of the next couple of decades, it is our responsibility to ensure that the processes and technologies at our disposal meet the evolving needs of our community. To that end, St. Norbert College is implementing the following Workday modules: Human Capital Management (HCM), Budgeting (Adaptive Planning) and Finance.
This cloud-based, mobile-enabled technology will deliver a best-in-class experience to students, faculty and staff by significantly improving self-service access to data, reports and forms. It will increase strategic, financial and operational agility for insightful decision-making, as well as create operational efficiencies through process automation and workflow. Overall, the Workday solution will provide an updated, modern system with tools that will establish a foundation to build upon and strategically position the college for a competitive, sustainable future.
Phased Implementation Approach
- Phase 1: Readiness Assessment
- Period of discovery and implementation planning; completed May 1, 2021
- Phase 2: HCM and Budgeting (Adaptive Planning) Implementation
- Budgeting (Adaptive Planning) partial implementation beginning May 1, 2021; completed October 2021 (in time for FY23 budget development)
- HCM beginning May 1, 2021; completed March 2022
- Phase 3 [current phase]: Finance and Budgeting (Adaptive Planning) Implementation
- Finance beginning August 2022; go-live target is June 6, 2023
- Budgeting (Adaptive Planning) full implementation to be completed in June 2023
