Humans of St. Norbert:
“I would make decisions in governmental public health that affect different systems, but here I have a different role. I can use my expertise to give recommendations to administration based on my experience, but the decision doesn’t have to be my own.
“I have many different roles on campus. I’m a parent of a freshman, a student myself as an MBA student and an employee. Looking at different operations of the college from different perspectives has given me the opportunity to get that holistic view of what the college campus is all about. I do look to my daughter as that focus group of one and I do reach out to her for any feedback as an incoming freshman, especially during this time when things are not normal or customary so it’s been good having her on campus.
“I think the college has done a great job managing this pandemic and trying to make the best of an unfortunate situation. I do think that the college as a whole takes into account every perspective and makes really good decisions. I appreciate working with people who are intelligent and wise and thoughtful and kind, and making these recommendations to those people who have the best interest of our students, faculty and staff at the heart of what needs to be done.” – Chrystal Woller, senior director of health & wellness
