Humans of St. Norbert:
“My brother lives in Green Bay, so I get to watch my niece and nephew. They’re super precious. Usually, I’ll just go over there and hang out. My nephew is like a mini version of my brother. My brother is a very analytical, logical individual. But my nephew is three and is really into letters and numbers right now. He has one of those erasable pad things, one of those magnetic ones where you pull the swiper across. So, he’ll write his letters and he’ll call that his ‘work.’ Then, he has a little table my mom and dad got him by a window in their house and he calls that his office. So, he’ll be working in his office just writing letters. My niece, she’ll be one in August. She just started to crawl and so right now, we’re just tickling her and shaking things at her. She does like to dance though, so if you just Waltz with her to any song, she’ll be happy. I help out when my brother travels for work and if they have swimming lessons or whatever, just so they don’t have the two kids. It’s just a little more manageable.”
