St. Norbert Community Band concert

The St. Norbert Community Band will present its annual Spring Concert on Monday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Walter Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts. The band is directed by Michael Knight, assistant professor of music.

The St. Norbert Community Band is made up of faculty, alumni, and friends of St. Norbert College. The group was formed in order to provide an opportunity for outstanding musicians from northeast Wisconsin to experience the finest available band literature. The concert will include selections by Alex F. Lithgow, Vittorio Gianni, Davide Delle Cese, Edward Elgar and William Walton.

Jeffrey Verkuilen, adjunct instructor of music, will accompany the band on organ.

General admission tickets are $6. All tickets for events held in Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts are subject to a $1 per ticket facility fee used to improve and enhance the Hall of Fine Arts.
