St. Norbert College 5th annual Big Band Snowball

The St. Norbert College Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Eric High, presents the fifth annual Big Band Snowball on Friday, Mar. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sensenbrenner Union Lounge. The Big Band Snowball will perform classical swing hits from the 1930s through the 50s including the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Chick Webb and many others. Also, during this two and a half-hour concert, J. Powell Dance Studio will give dance instruction.

The night of music and dancing is being held to help fund a guest artist for the jazz ensemble, Dave Hagedorn, from St. Olaf, who will perform with the St. Norbert College Jazz Ensemble in their April concert. The Big Band Snowball is also funding the St. Norbert College Jazz Ensemble
