First-Year Summer Orientation

Every summer, new students are invited to join us to kick off their college experience. This is your chance to meet some of your classmates, spend time with an academic advisor, select your first classes and find out about life on campus.

You are encouraged to bring one family member with you to Summer Orientation. For 2022, we will be limiting the number of guests. Their sessions focus on tips for college parents, payment plans, housing contracts and meal plans. Your guest can tour the residence halls, too.  

There are six different opportunities to attend orientation in June. Each session has a limited enrollment, and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to sign up as soon as possible when registration opens on Feb. 1 to have the best chance of getting your top choice. Registration will be open to students who have submitted their enrollment deposit.

Schedule

Please be aware that there are two separate schedules. One schedule for incoming students and another for a family member(s) that may accompany them.  Students and their family member(s) will attend sessions separately for half the day.  The day will be full from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Take a look at the family schedule and the student schedule.
