Amy Diestler

Peer Mentor

Amy is a senior who will be graduating in May and is majoring in Accounting.  She started in the career services office as the Research Fellow in fall 2010 and loved her job so much that she now works as a Peer Mentor.  She is eager to help her peers get internships and job offers by improving their resumes, organizing their cover letters, and answering career-related questions, as well as getting students excited about Career Services events.

Amy enjoys being busy, which means she is very involved on and off campus.  She is currently the President of Enactus, the Treasurer and Make a Difference Day Coordinator for Residence Hall Association, a member of National Residence Hall Honorary, and a member of Accounting Club.  Off campus, Amy volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters.  She studied abroad in Florence, Italy in fall 2012 and loves telling anyone who will listen about her experience.

In the future, Amy will be working at a public accounting firm in Madison, WI and will be taking the C.P.A Exam over the summer.  Her strengths include achiever, woo, communication, competition, and positivity.
