Before moving to the United States 20 years ago, my family spent six years in Jordan. There we met many Arab Christians, and found our Muslim friends were very interested in discussing the common ground between our faith and theirs. Here in Wisconsin, I am a member of All Saints, Appleton, where I worship with my husband and children. At church, I have served as director of Christian education and as a member of the marketing committee. Right now, I serve on the vestry and teach Sunday School to a multi-age class – it’s like a one-room schoolhouse, the big ones help the little ones, and I love it!”
