Tabletalk

Tabletalk is an opportunity for student orgs to gather with a trained facilitator to watch a TED talk and reflect on what it means for their group and the people gathered. The Emmaus Center is pleased to offer dinner for any group who schedules a Tabletalk gathering. Please schedule a Tabletalk with your student org at least one week prior to your requested event.

Past Tabletalks have included:

Slow It Down: How can we slow down and cultivate moments of rest when our lives as college students are so busy? (video)

What's Your Why? What's your personal mission statement and why are the things you value important to you? (video)

Reframing Failure: How do we make sense of and move on from the times we fell short or didn’t make the cut? (video)

Rejection Revolution: Is there an upside to getting turned down? (video)

The Quest for Love: When running away in love, do we ultimately avoid the work we need to do in ourselves? (video)
