St. Norbert Routs Finlandia for Series Sweep

HANCOCK, Mich. - St. Norbert College scored at least three goals in every period to procure a sweep of Finlandia University in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series with a 10-1 triumph over the Lions at Houghton County Ice Arena.
The Green Knights (10-6-1, 5-4-1 NCHA) scored four goals in the first period and three apiece in the final two stanzas.
Emily Chandler started things rolling for St. Norbert with an unassisted goal at the 1:35 mark of the first period. Lauren Roethlisberger scored a power-play goal at 15:07, followed by a goal from Ali Parker at 16:58. Roethlisberger scored her second power-play goal of the period with a marker at 19:12.
Jillian Kosteck put St. Norbert ahead 5-0 with a goal at 3:32 of the second period, and Parker scored 18 seconds later for a 6-0 edge. Reaghan Chadwick notched a power-play goal at 16:58 for a 7-0 edge after 40 minutes.
Chadwick scored unassisted at 2:57 of the third period, but Finlandia scored its only goal of the game on a score by Morgan Loroff 11 seconds later. Lexi Lyykkonen scored at 6:04 of the third, and Parker recorded her third career hat trick with a goal with 9 seconds remaining.
Roethlisberger and Chadwick both had assists for a three-point game. Megan Crandell, Jessica Sherman and Myranda Hayes all had two assists apiece for the Green Knights.
St. Norbert outshot Finlandia 38-14. Brianna Kelly made 13 saves for the Green Knights, who were 3-for-7 on the power play.
